ANYTHING.
Membership, campus hackathons, bootcamps, AI credits, prizes — everything you're wondering, answered in plain text. If it's not here, mail us.
Registration & price
HOW MUCH IS
IT REALLY?
Yes — and it's the price of round 1 of the national hackathon. No tiers, no add-on passes, no hidden fees. Hackathon round 1, the community, goodies, certificate, prize eligibility and the music fest — all inside the ₹1,200.
Per person. Every participant needs their own registration — the price, the goodies and the certificate are all per head.
Any student — undergrad, postgrad or just graduated this year. You don't need to be from a CS background, and there's no entrance test or degree requirement.
Yes. Group and college-wide registrations are supported in the wizard — one person can add everyone and pay in one go.
No refunds after payment — the kit, credits and infrastructure are bought in advance for every seat. Pick your dates carefully; if something genuinely blocks you, mail us and we'll look at it case by case.
The hackathon
HOW DOES THE
HACKATHON WORK?
Your registration puts you in round 1, which runs at the festival. Round 1 uses a 12-point system: at least one member of your 4-person team must qualify, and every other member needs a minimum 6/12 points to stay on the team. Show up, build, clear the line, and advance — the higher rounds scale up from there.
Teams of up to 4. To qualify in round 1, at least one member must qualify and the rest need a minimum 6/12 points to remain on the team. Competing solo is allowed if you're built different — but squads are where the fun (and the prizes) live.
Every member of your 4-person team gets scored out of 12 in round 1. For the team to qualify, at least one of you must hit the qualifying mark — and anyone below 6/12 drops out of the team. Everyone above the line stays and the team carries on.
Absolutely. Some of the best projects at festival hackathons come from design, business and even sports students. The bootcamp gets you up to speed on day 1.
Yes — a working laptop is the one thing we don't provide. Power, internet, space and mentors we've got covered.
That's the point of the bootcamp. You'll walk in with zero ideas and walk out with at least one shipped thing worth hacking further.
The bootcamp
WHAT IS THE
BOOTCAMP?
Three days on campus, inside the festival. One main course — AI — plus networking and entrepreneurship streams. Small squads, hands-on, mentors from the industry.
No. The bootcamp is designed for people who've never touched it. You'll learn prompting, APIs, data and shipping — and build a real project by day 3.
Yes. Free AI credits are loaded for the bootcamp so you can build and ship without spending your own money. It's part of your registration, not an upsell.
No. It's included in the ₹1,200. Same price, everything inside.
Privileges
IS THE STAY
INCLUDED?
Yes — the stay is part of your bootcamp privileges. You live inside the festival for the whole ride; no daily commute, no missing the late sessions.
Badge, merch and the essentials to survive three days on campus. It's handed out at check-in on day 1.
Nope. The camping experience is organised — night zones, bonfires and the setup is all handled. You bring yourself.
No. It's part of your ₹1,200 pass. Build all day, turn up at night — no extra math.
Prizes & certificate
WHO WINS THE
₹20 LAKH?
It runs across the whole festival — hackathon, pitch arena and the sports tracks. The exact breakdown is published with each track's details.
Yes. Every registered participant gets a participation certificate — it's a real proof of showing up and competing, not a participation-trophy joke.
Industry mentors, founders and people who actually deploy capital. Real judges, real feedback, zero participation-style judging.

WHAT ELSE
SHOULD I KNOW?
Three days on one campus. The full breakdown — days, times, venues — is on the events page.
Every participant should plan for all three — the bootcamp runs across days and the hackathon doesn't compress. If you have an exam emergency, mail us before registering.
Laptop and charger, a water bottle, and IDs for check-in. Almost everything else — kit, credits, power, mentors — is on us.
Mail hello@skillgarage.in — a human replies, not a bot. If it's a good question, we're adding it to this page.
