Welcome to SkillGarage, operated by SkillGarage Education Labs ("SkillGarage", "we", "us"). By accessing our website, the online live AI program, the AI buildathon, or any membership community ("the Services"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. The Services

SkillGarage is an online live AI program and a pan-India community for builders. Our Services include the website, the online live AI program, AI events (buildathons and hackathons), the exclusive online community, video lessons on AI & GTM, and AI credits from partner companies.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to purchase a membership or enter the buildathon.
• You must provide accurate information when registering, applying or paying.
• Each membership and each buildathon entry belongs to one individual and may not be shared or transferred without our written consent.

3. Payments

• Round 1 entry to the AI buildathon is charged at ₹1,200. Any other fees are displayed on our payment page at the time of purchase.
• Payments are processed securely through Cashfree. We do not store your card or UPI details on our servers.
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Failure to pay does not grant access to the Services. Access opens only after successful payment confirmation.

4. Buildathon rules

• Participants build AI workflows and products as per the briefs shared with each round. We help you create actual workflows — this is a buildathon, not a theory course.
• All work submitted must be original. Plagiarism or submission of others' work leads to disqualification.
• Judging decisions are final and binding.
• We may disqualify any participant who behaves abusively, disruptively, or in violation of these terms.

5. Membership & community conduct

• Membership is a one-year access to the community, the online live AI program, events, lessons and credits, subject to the pricing shown at the time of purchase.
• Be respectful. Harassment, spam, sharing of proprietary content, or misuse of AI credits will result in termination of membership without refund.
• AI credits are provided by partner companies and are subject to their own terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the website, including lessons, videos, branding and materials, is owned by SkillGarage Education Labs or its licensors. You may not copy, resell or redistribute it. You retain ownership of the workflows and products you build, and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display them for community and promotional purposes.

7. Third-party services

Payments are processed by Cashfree, community chat is hosted on Slack, and analytics and fonts are provided by third parties. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties; please review their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillGarage is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, opportunity or revenue. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
