This Privacy Policy explains how SkillGarage Education Labs ("SkillGarage", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website, the online live AI program, the AI buildathon, and the membership community ("the Services").

• Account & contact details: name, email address, city and role when you apply for membership or register for the buildathon.
• Payment information: processed entirely by Cashfree (the payment provider). We do not receive or store your full card numbers, UPI details or bank credentials.
• Usage information: pages visited, device type, browser, and interactions on our website, collected through analytics cookies and similar technologies.
• Community content: anything you post in the community (e.g. Slack), including messages, files and profiles.

2. How we use your information

• To provide membership access, run the online live AI program and the buildathon.
• To process and confirm payments, and to send receipts and programme communications.
• To improve our website, lessons and events.
• To invite you to events, share community updates and ensure community safety.

3. Legal basis

We process your information where necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the Services you paid for), to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services. Where required, we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Sharing your information

• Service providers: Cashfree (payments), Slack (community chat), hosting and analytics providers, and font/CDN services. They process data only for the services they provide to us.
• Legal compliance: where required by law, court order or government authority.
• Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the new entity.

We never sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your membership or participation continues, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with tax and legal obligations. Payment records retained by Cashfree are governed by Cashfree's own policies.

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
